WHATS HAPPENING IN TEAM 3

WHATS HAPPENING IN TEAM 3…During Term 3 our sporting highlights were the Excellence Achievements that we accomplished at two huge sporting events, these were Sports Camp and Aims Games. During Sports camp we were placed into 12 finals gladly winning 6 trophies which were: Wall Ball, Archery, Shooting, Petanque and girls volleyball.

The Year 7&8 students were happy with the outstanding effort that we put our heart and soul into.

On the 4^th September a group of talented Netballers, BMX riders and Cross Country runners were selected to represent our school at the 2016 Aims Games held at Tauranga and we placed amazingly in all the events. For the Netball we placed 63rd out of 116 teams and for the Cross Country our three runners placed 115^th, 148^th and 48^th out of 160 runners, finally our BMX riders placed 7^th and 25^th out of 30 riders. So it was a wonderful effort by all our representatives.

Also during Term 3 we had a lot of academic achievements and they were Speeches, Waimaths and Science Fair. For speeches and science fair it is compulsory to participate then the best of the best get selected to represent our school in outer/wider events. Waimaths is a maths competition where the best of the best from the Waikato compete.
